Commercial Photography as a Tool

Like Simon Norfolk uses beauty as a tool to discuss difficult subjects, I plan to utilise the visual language of commercial photography within my photographs. This type of visual language is a part of every day life, we see it in magazines, on posters and TV. The fact that this language is familiar to everyone will work to my advantage. I will use it to construct my photographs so that the audience accepts them and feels comfortable with them immediately. Then as the viewer gets closer, the true story of the fairytale will become clear.

Below are some examples of this style of photography.
