The Brown Sisters

These are two images from nicholas nixon’s book ‘The Brown Sisters’. The series composed of several group portraits of his wife and her three sisters. Nixon has taken one photo for every year since he began the project. The book holds almost 25 years worth of photos. The photos are arranged consecutively, which allows the viewer to watch the family grow and age.
